Tailored to your liking, nothing beats homemade pizza. Making pizza is something the entire family can participate in, reaping the benefits as triangle pieces are passed around the table and satisfyingly devoured.
Most people think pizza is time-consuming to create, which is simply not the case.
Here is a speedy pizza recipe so you can enjoy your dinner quests rather than spending most of your time in the kitchen slaving over the perfect pie.
Here is what you need:
2-4 cloves of Garlic
1 can of Tomato Paste
1 can of Tomato Sauce
Salt & Pepper
Pizza Crust (pre-made or dough)
Cheese of choice
Toppings of choice
Preheat oven to 420 degrees. Yes, that high.
Combine tomato paste and tomato sauce is a bowl. Chop the oregano, basil, thyme and garlic. Stir into tomato sauce until mixed well. The sauce should be thick so add olive oil to thin out the consistency. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Take your unbaked pizza crust (I used gluten-free pizza dough) and spread the tomato sauce over the top leaving it thinner toward the middle. Sprinkle with cheese(s) of your choice.
Add the toppings. I used sun-dried tomatoes, marinated artichoke hearts, black olives and mushrooms.
Cook the pizza until browned on top and to desired crispness.
Sprinkle with fresh basil.
